Chew Ranch

Chew Ranch is on private property just outside of Dinosaur National Monument, but you must go through the monument to get there. Currently, the fee to enter the park is $15.00 for bicyclists and pedestrians, $20.00 for motorcycles, and $25.00 for cars. The pass is good for seven days and can be purchased in advance here.

It is stop #9 on the Tour of the Tilted Rocks autotour. Guidebooks for the tour are available for a small fee at the visitor center. If you are driving the tour in order, stop #9 is on Cub Creek Road about 200 yards beyond the bridge over the Green River. The road isn't marked, but it's called the Josie Morris Ranch Road. The road is a public access road, but the property on either side is private. You'll pass through two gates. Leave them as you found them, open or closed. A short distance past the second gate, on the left side of the road, is a panel about 100 feet long surrounded by a fence. Unfortunately, the panel has been heavily vandalized.
